What is the definition of industrial wastewater?
As defined in the FEM How to Higg Guide, industrial wastewater refers to water that has been used for manufacturing processes but no longer meets the quality standards for beneficial use. This includes wastewater from production, lubrication, cooling, maintenance, cleaning of production machines, and similar activities.
