Select **Download** from the table.![41179582610843.png](https://support.worldly.io/hubfs/Knowledge%20Base%20Import/41179582610843.png)   ## **Getting Started - Data Downloads** All modules are available for individual download. You can bulk download by clicking the check mark next to multiple FEM assessments from different facilities and different cadence years.  To understand and analyze your data downloads, we recommend the following: 1. Begin with the **Meta** file, which provides a high level summary of shared assessments such as details about the facilities and dates of completion. This file does not include FEM answers. 2. Review the **Performance** file to see scores and quantitative information with simplified and readable column names. 3. Next, do a deep dive with the **Quantitative Impacts** file to understand facility resource usage and impact metrics such as water, energy, and greenhouse gas emissions. 4. Lastly, look up information in **Raw Responses**, which provides data on all questions about the facility from specific sections such as the **Air Emissions, Energy, or Waste sections.** **![41920908059419.png](https://support.worldly.io/hubfs/Knowledge%20Base%20Import/41920908059419.png)**   ## **How to access Hidden Columns** If you don't see a column in the **All Modules** table, follow these directions to access hidden columns: 1. Click **Reset Columns** to return to the standard view of the table. This export will include only the records selected from the **Modules** page.![41179582613403.png](https://support.worldly.io/hubfs/Knowledge%20Base%20Import/41179582613403.png)   #### **Bulk CSV V2** The Bulk CSV V2 download option is available for analyzing previous module year data.  Use this export to view fields from previous V2 exports with 2023 data. This export does not contain the new columns introduced with the new FEM methodology. The new data can be found in the section raw response exports. While there is no bulk csv available for FEM2023 containing all FEM data in one assessment due to the new FEM4.0 assessment exceeding the size of one excel file, it is possible to download all FEM data points in multiple excel downloads.   #### **Performance CSV** The Performance CSV is the most cleaned, readable, and user-friendly assessment export that holds most relevant quantitative impact and general facility information. It provides information on scores and quantitative information with simplified and readable column names. This file is unique for two reasons: 1. It can recognize whether an assessment has been verified (status = VRF) 2. It will fill in verifier values for data points that were corrected by the verifier This CSV file is distinct from others, because other reports present both verifier and facility data points regardless of assessment status. In other words, any data points deemed incorrect by a verifier will be replaced within the Performance CSV with the corrected answer.  This difference can lead to user confusion, as one REFID can have multiple “responses” in the exports. Using the Performance CSV will ensure that you are using the correct value every time. Lastly, download the [FEM Performance CSV Data Dictionary at the bottom of this page](https://support.worldly.io/hc/en-us/articles/35369381284251-fem-data-exports#h_01KQ0W980VT67X4YYEHZCCSZQZ), which will help you navigate the Performance CSV. In this dictionary, you can look up characteristics such as description and question-type of all calculated fields in the FEM Performance CSV file, identifiable by readable column names.   #### **Meta**  Use this export to understand key assessment data such as current status, status change events, location, and verifier details (with a completed verification).   #### **Quantitative Impacts** Use this export to understand facility resource usage and impact metrics such as water, energy, and greenhouse gas emissions. [Download the Normal Data Dictionary](https://howtohigg.cascale.org/resources-library/resources-library-fem-4-0-resources/#:~:text=Download%20REFID%20Comparison-,Data%20Dictionaries,-Normal%20Data%20Dictionary), which will help you navigate the Quantitative Impacts CSV and the Raw Response CSVs. In this dictionary, you can look up characteristics such as description, inclusion in verification, question-type and applicability, of all FEM2023 questions (identifiable by their REFID). #### **Scores and Levels** Use this export to understand facility ratings and progress with overall scores, section level scores, and per question scores. FEM has three levels: - **Level 1** – Awareness and understanding of sources and basic management systems - **Level 2** – Setting baselines, targets, and tracking improvements - **Level 3** – Leading aspirational practices Two specific fields have been defined below for clarity. These fields are split by section of the FEM (ex. Chemicals, Waste, etc.) - **LevelsOpen** – This field tells you which levels that were open or available for a facility to answer within the FEM. - **LevelsAchieved** – This field tells you which levels were achieved, meaning the facility scored the a sufficient amount of points in that level. A: The new FEM4.0 assessment cannot be downloaded into one single file because it is too large. You can download an entire FEM4.0 by downloading separate files for each section. These are the Raw Response files and can be downloaded from the Data Downloads drawer, either from the Dashboard or Modules page. The Raw Response files are only available for FEM4.0 (FEM2023) modules, not for previous cadence years. Is the Bulk CSV V2 export available for FEM4.0? A: The Bulk CSV V2 file still exists for FEM4.0. The FEM4.0 has been mapped to the older CSV V2 columns. However, we recommend using the Performance CSV or the Quantitative Impacts CSV to analyze FEM4.0 data, since the Bulk CSV V2 is not being updated to reflect the FEM4.0 changes. - The Bulk CSV V2 is available for the FEM2023 cadence to ensure a smooth transition to new data formats and to analyze previous years’ FEM data. - The Performance CSV is updated to FEM4.0, suitable for analyzing FEM2023 data as well as previous years’ cadence data, and is optimal for making Year-over-year comparisons. - The Quantitative Impacts CSV is only available for FEM2023 modules. As a brand, can I download FEM data from my facilities? A: Yes, brands will only be able to access and download the data from facilities that have posted and shared FEM assessments. Why is the 'normalized GHG units' column blank in the 2023 CSV, but data shows up in all of the other years? A: Prior to FEM 2023, facilities could not report on energy consumption or production units by distinct facility type. From FEM 2023 onward, normalized values are now calculated for each facility type where production units and energy consumption have been reported. For facilities that have reported a single facility type, normalized values can be found in the reference column "totalNormalizedGHGemissions.facility" on bulk csv downloads. Performance CSV downloads show the normalized values by each facility type.
