Industrial and Domestic Wastewater
If a facility produces wastewater, domestic wastewater is now only tracked separately if any of the wastewater it is treated onsite excluding septic systems. If is not treated onsite then the user will not see a separate domestic water input.
Energy Attribute Certificates (EACs) (e.g. Renewable Energy Certificates (RECs))
The MWh for EACs has been updated to reflect the number of hours purchased and retired during the entire year. Previously MWhs were to be reported for the specific month, but now the value should reflect the entire year. Please review the guidance to understand how MWhs should be reported.
Additionally, the questions for EACs have been relocated to the Energy section.

Report the total MWh you have purchased and plan to retire for the reporting year. if you’ve purchased 100 MWh in January and in June you purchase an additional 500 MWh, you will report the MWh for each months like this:
- January: 100 MWh
- February: 100 MWh
- March: 100 MWh
- April: 100 MWh
- May: 100 MWh
- June: 600 MWh (adding 100 + the 500 additional purchased and planned to retire)
- July: 600 MWh
- August: 600 MWh
- September: 600 MWh
- October: 600 MWh
- November: 600 MWh
- December: 600 MWh
