There are two types of offline alternative templates, CAP and General. These templates are used to record audit/assessment findings.   ## **Navigation** Begin by navigating to **Configurators** and select **Offline Alternative Configurator.** **![49757656343067.png](https://support.worldly.io/hs-fs/hubfs/Knowledge%20Base%20Import/49757656343067.png?width=176&height=178&name=49757656343067.png)** **Note:** Ensure the permission for “Save Assessment to Excel/Print to Local File” is checked for offline alternative users. [**Create New Offline Alternative**](https://support.worldly.io/hc/en-us/articles/49757515429275-configure-an-offline-alternative#h_01KQD983SK6HFK72G16TC87GC4)   ### **Configure Offline Alternative Fields** There are three tabs on this page: ![49757670583195.png](https://support.worldly.io/hs-fs/hubfs/Knowledge%20Base%20Import/49757670583195.png?width=532&height=399&name=49757670583195.png) 1. **CAP Offline Alternative Fields:** The CAP Offline Alternative Fields templates are used to export and import CAP updates or audit updates for a specific, pre-existing audit instance. General Offline Alternative Fields templates are used to import complete audit/assessment findings. When selected, both options display a list of existing **Offline Alternative Fields** templates. ![49757670584475.png](https://support.worldly.io/hs-fs/hubfs/Knowledge%20Base%20Import/49757670584475.png?width=624&height=147&name=49757670584475.png) 2. **General Offline Alternative Fields** 3. **Import History**   ### **Create New Offline Alternative** To create a new offline alternative field: 1. By default the General Offline Alternative Field is selected. Enter the **Offline Alternative Name**, which is a required field. The **Password** field is optional. ![49757656353563.png](https://support.worldly.io/hs-fs/hubfs/Knowledge%20Base%20Import/49757656353563.png?width=423&height=327&name=49757656353563.png) Below the Configure Offline Alternative Fields section is where you can configure the columns and fields of the Offline Alternative template. ![49757656354715.png](https://support.worldly.io/hs-fs/hubfs/Knowledge%20Base%20Import/49757656354715.png?width=624&height=245&name=49757656354715.png) 1. **Column Name:** View the name of the column 2. **Select All Include in Offline Alternative:** Check the corresponding box in this column to include it in the Offline Alternative. Check the box in the column header to include all columns. 3. **Select All Editable in Offline Alternative which are Included:** Check the corresponding box in this column to include it in the Offline Alternative. Check the box in the column header to make all the available fields editable.  4. **Sort Order:** Use the arrows to change the order of the columns in the Offline Alternative. 5. **Pick Color:** Use the dropdown to select a color. 6. **Column Width:** Use the arrows to change the width of the column.
