Custom Fields
Custom fields must first be configured before they are available on an account page.
How to navigate to the Manage Custom Data Fields Labels page:
- Navigate to Administration from the left-hand navigation menu and select Master Data
- Expand Other Master Modules and select the Member Custom Field Labels folder
There are three options for creating Custom Fields.
- Assessment
- Factory
- Organization
Creating Custom Fields
To create a custom data field label:
- Toggle the State column to On.
- In the Custom Field column, enter the name of the label.
- In the Control Type column, select the response option for the Custom Field.
- If you select Dropdown Field or Multi Select Box, make sure a Generic List is set up first.
- If you select Dropdown Field or Multi Select Box, make sure a Generic List is set up first.
- Toggle the Is Required column to Yes if the custom field is required before the record can be saved.
Generic Lists
Generic Lists can be used by brands to customize response lists.
How to navigate to generic list categories:
- Navigate to Administration from the left-hand navigation menu and select Master Data
- Expand Generic Lists.
In the Generic Lists section, there are:
- Category Names
- Category Descriptions
- Module Folders
- Edit Category Name
To add a new response to a list:
- Click on the folder icon of the category to add a new response
- Note: Use a CD field that you have not already used.
- Click on the pencil icon to customize the Category Name.
- As a best practice, we recommend keeping the Category Name number.

- After selecting the folder icon, enter the data for the corresponding dropdown or multi select field
- Click Save.
- To change the Status of the category, toggle the status by clicking the thumbs up icon.
- To edit the details of the category, select the pencil icon.
Note: Only categories with an active status will be shown in a response list.
Assigning Generic Lists to Custom Fields
Once your Generic List was created, assign it to your Custom Field by:
- Navigate to the Manage Custom Data Field Labels page.
- Select the desired Generic List from the dropdown.
- Select Save in the bottom left corner.
